MEGA MONTH
Each June, about half of our headquarters team heads out on our annual Mega Month. As you’re reading this, five of our eight staff members will be in Costa Rica. This year’s Global Learning Forum (GLF) will gather directors from across the Caribbean, Central, and South America in San José, Costa Rica for three days of encouragement, learning, and relationship building. It’s a highlight of the year for us as we have an intentional time to invest in the leaders who pour so much out for the care of the sponsored children. Please pray with us for all those involved. Several of our directors are traveling internationally for the first time!
Immediately following the GLF, we’ll enjoy our annual Fundraising Adventure trip. This year, we’ll be joined by eight CofP partners who are excited to explore some of the epic natural wonders that Costa Rica has to offer, and raise money for the ministry of Children of Promise in the process!
When the Adventure ends, twelve more people will arrive to spend time interviewing and getting to know sponsored children around the country!
Be sure to follow our social media to see daily updates from Costa Rica, and plan now to join us next year for part (or all!) of our Mega Month!

EVEN MORE HOPE IN THE BROTHEL
Your OVERWHELMING generosity during our Heads Up 7 Up campaign in May is making it possible for the girls in Daulatdia, Bangladesh to move into the Meena Project house this month! Thank you!!
We are still looking to secure ongoing sponsorship at $50/month for 35 of the girls who will live at the Meena Project. This is your opportunity to have a direct hand in preventing human trafficking!
Visit www.childrenofpromise.global/meena to commit to sponsoring a girl at the Meena Project.
Due to the vulnerable situation of these precious girls, we are not posting their pictures on our website. After filling out the commitment form, someone from our office will contact you to secure payment information.
A very special thank you to our friends at Christian Women Connection who are partnering with us to make sure ALL of the girls can move in at one time while we continue to secure ongoing sponsorship for each one.
We mentioned a couple of months ago that we are taking a two-pronged approach to addressing the needs of the children growing up in the brothel in Daulatdia, Bangladesh. The Meena Project is the first aspect. This month, we’re excited to announce our partnership with the House of Hope, another ministry of the Church of God in Bangladesh.
The House of Hope is a holistic day program that has been in operation for about a year. It offers educational, recreational, nutritional, social work, and medical services to children and their moms who are enslaved in the work of the brothel.
Approximately 250 children participate in the ministry of the House of Hope. Because of the vulnerability of these children, one-to-one sponsorships will not be available. By partnering in a “share” of the sponsorship of the House of Hope at $32/month, you ensure that one child receives services each month.
Visit www.childrenofpromise.global/HouseOfHope to make the Children of Promise Core Four (nutrition, education, healthcare, and discipleship) available to one or more children in Daulatdia. The beauty of the two-pronged approach to making wholeness possible for the
children in Daulatdia is that there will be some overlap. Your sponsorship of a girl living at the Meena Project makes the House of Hope services available to her also!
We hope you’ll join us in making wholeness possible for children in Daulatdia, Bangladesh, and around the world.
